IELTS Writing Task 2

Most of the professionals who apply abroad for Higher Education or Immigration usually do not get required bands in IELTS Writing Task 2. In fact, in this task weight-age is higher than task 1.

Candidates usually take writing part very easy and do not try to understand its ins and outs. In writing task 2 there are seven types of Essays and each has different pattern .if you do not follow the right pattern you cannot obtain required results in writing module. Firstly, you need to understand the difference among all types and then you have to explain in allotted time.

For your understanding  5 types of essay mention below:

Type 1 – Agree or Disagree
Type 2 – Advantages/Benefits outweigh Disadvantages / Drawbacks
Type 3 – Discuss both views
Type 4 – Causes/ Problems and Solutions
Type 5 – Two Questions/Two- Part Questions

In any type of above essays you should use perfect introduction because it is preface of an essay. You must include Topic Sentence, Thesis statement and closing line in Introductory Paragraph.an ideal length of high scoring essay is 270 to 290 words.
Most importantly, you must include relevant examples with proper explanation in every type of essay and remember, there are two types of Examples:

General Example.
Real world Example.

General example means you can give any example of your friends, family or someone whereas, Real world example means, reference based or specific famous person with facts and figures. For the purpose, you need to have better knowledge and information about the topic.

If your length and pattern is perfect and your examples are explained well and proper connecting words are used so you will surely get desired results in IELTS Writing Task 2.
Of course, you should have proper understanding of basic Grammar .it is recommended to write at least 30 essays before appearing in IELTS Exam. All essays should be checked with expert in order to get improvement.
